Horacio Cardozo was born in Argentina, where he studied Architecture and Design at Buenos Aires University and Philosophy at Del Salvador University. His drawing skills and his admiration for fine arts, especially those of the Renaissance period, led him to explore a career in painting, since 1987.

Horatio is an incredibly gifted artist. He manages to make the three dimension still life look as real as plucking real fruit and savoring it in your mouth, then rolling it over your tongue. you taste the bursting sweet tickling your taste buds. His still life looks so realistic it could have an aroma. I haven’t seen this degree perfection since looking at the old masters of the Rembrandt style or Vemeer. This is fine art . Going further down the page his creamy nudes seduce from a perfect mix of light and shadow. Their elegant curves please the eye and they are projecting a quiet sexuality. The boats in water as clear and reflective as a mirror represent peace and serenity wrapped dreams and lazy fishing days. You can feel your body release tension as you wait for the imaginary fish to strike the baited hook. It is this magic brush that Horatio paints with that leaves us like a hooked fish waiting for more of his incredible art.
